Up Close and Personal
Having grown up in Mobile, Alabama, Jason now calls Greensburg home. He played sports from a very young age, which culminated in playing baseball at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. After graduating from UAB in 1998, Jason worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the school’s football team. From there he went on to obtain a master’s degree from Troy University. His studies in graduate school sparked an interest in the law, and upon completion of his master’s degree, Jason enrolled in law school at Florida State University. It was there that Jason met his wife, who grew up in Westmoreland County.
After completing law school, Jason began his legal career in Orlando in 2007. He handled cases throughout Florida until 2015, when he and his wife decided to relocate to the Pittsburgh area. Jason’s practice has involved business matters, banking, creditor and debtor issues, commercial and residential real estate, foreclosures, civil litigation, and appellate work.
Outside of his legal practice, Jason owns a food truck and started the Westmoreland County Mobile Food Alliance, a local association of food truck owners. His hobbies include playing guitar, all things relating to physical fitness and strength and conditioning, and of course Alabama football. An avid student of the Austrian School of economics, Jason is an Ambassador for the Ludwig von Mises Institute, an educational institution dedicated to teaching and furthering Austrian Economics in the tradition of the economist Ludwig von Mises.
