Up Close and Personal
Prior to joining Meyer Darragh, Attorney Jonathan McCloskey served as a judicial law clerk in the office of Washington County Court of Common Pleas Judge Damon Faldowski and also performed work for President Judge Katherine Emery. This judicial clerkship provided valuable and practical insight regarding how the Pennsylvania state courts operate and the best practices of trial attorneys.
Since 2015, Attorney Jonathan McCloskey has volunteered as the Attorney Advisor for Peters Township High School Mock Trial Team, where he teaches high school students the basics of the U.S. legal system. Jonathan instructs in practical skills such as public speaking, persuasive writing and storytelling. He has also volunteered for the Allegheny County Young Lawyer Association’s “Stepping Out” Program, where he speaks to high school students in the Pittsburgh area about their legal rights and responsibilities upon turning age 18. Jonathan enjoys athletics and fitness, participating in Meyer Darragh’s basketball team, which competes against other law firms associated with the Allegheny County Bar Association.
