Up Close and PersonalShane Sarver is a 2009 graduate of Duquesne University, where he attended on a track and cross country scholarship and received his degree in political science before attending Duquesne University School of Law. While in law school, Shane worked for a criminal defense and personal injury firm and was involved in the American Bar Association’s Appellate Moot Court Competition, receiving an award for the competition’s fifth best appellate brief. Shane also served as Case Note Editor for Duquesne’s Criminal Law Journal, before receiving his J.D. with honors in 2012.
After law school, Shane worked for a general practice firm in Butler County, representing clients in a number of fields, including criminal defense, oil and gas leasing and litigation, and real property matters. Shane then accepted a position clerking for the Honorable David. A. Regoli in the civil division of the Westmoreland County Court of Common Pleas in 2014 prior to joining Meyer Darragh’s Greensburg office in the fall of 2015.
